County administrator: new sheriff's facility is progressing, interior work underway
The county administrator reported the new sheriff's facility is moving forward: steel components were reviewed offsite, roughly all concrete for the structure is poured and interior work such as drywall and elevator installation is in progress; earthwork and drainage work on the north side are ongoing.

The county administrator updated commissioners on construction of the new sheriff's facility, saying offsite inspections of steel cells were completed, most of the concrete work for the structure is finished, and interior trades are installing drywall and elevators. Earthwork and drainage on the north side of the building are underway, and the administrator invited commissioners to tour the site.
