The Senate Appropriations Committee reviewed and amended S.219, the bill creating (or relating to) an Energy Navigator program. Committee counsel explained two clarifying language changes that require navigation reports to recommend funding approaches rather than simply describing the program and a third amendment removing the bill’s appropriation section so implementation of that section would be contingent on subsequent funding decisions.
