Christian County Commission approves RFP renewal, accepts road conveyances and enters closed session

Summary

At its Feb. 5 meeting in Ozark, the Christian County Commission approved a renewal of RFP #2023-3 with Sutterfield Technology, accepted multiple right-of-way conveyances including Autumn Way and Mack Road, approved a $22,893.77 credit change order with Emery Sapp & Sons, heard a Health Department update, and entered closed session under RSMo 610.021.3 (personnel).

Presiding Commissioner Lynn Morris led the Christian County Commission in a regular session on Feb. 5 at the Historic Christian County Courthouse in Ozark. Commissioners Bradley A. Jackson (Eastern Commissioner) and Johnny Williams (Western Commissioner) were present; the meeting opened at 9:00 a.m. and was adjourned at 11:21 a.m.

The commission approved its consent agenda — which included the posted Feb. 5, 2026 agenda and the Auditor's Monthly Report for January 2026 — after Presiding Commissioner Lynn Morris “entertained a motion to approve the consent agenda.” Eastern Commissioner Bradley A. Jackson moved and Western Commissioner Johnny Williams seconded; the vote was recorded as Jackson, Morris and Williams — aye.

County officials heard an update from Christian County Health Department Administrator Emily Lattin and board member Steve Stewart. Discussion occurred but the record notes that no formal action was taken on the Health Department update during the meeting.
