County Engineer Kevin Russel opened sealed bids for Bridge #43, requested a $74,686 appropriation for additional pier work on Bridge #5752, authorized a task order for Bridge #55 PE work, and the commissioners accepted right-of-way counteroffers for Corydon Ridge Road while authorizing condemnation for parcels if needed.

County Engineer Kevin Russel opened sealed bids for the Bridge #43 rehabilitation project at the Harrison County commissioners' Jan. 20 meeting, reporting bids from American Contracting ($416,682.50), C&R Construction ($327,000.00), E&B Paving ($335,500.00), Force Construction ($651,357.55), Temple & Temple ($412,230.85) and Libs Paving ($526,162.50).
