Pasadena ISD multilingual director reports major reclassification gains, highlights bilingual program progress

Multilingual Director Rolando Merchand told the board Oct. 22 that the district has seen a sharp increase in student reclassifications and that about half of students participate in a bilingual program; the district is developing new MAP‑based metrics in partnership with the University of Colorado.
