Fernley council adopts code changes, approves staff offer updates and appoints acting city manager
The council unanimously approved two development-code amendments on home-occupation and screening/trash enclosure standards, updated the city clerk's offer letter to include a six‑month severance provision, and appointed Lydia Altek as acting city manager during the recruitment process (4–1). Council introduced an ordinance to allow sealed alcohol delivery by restaurants for later adoption.
