Mindy Elliott of Flint Jevetts government affairs briefed the Fernley City Council on the 2025 Nevada Legislative session, highlighting outcomes and measures likely to affect rural communities. She told the council there were "1,254 bill draft requests," 1,210 introduced bills, 519 signed bills and 87 vetoes during the session and walked through several housing provisions she described as the session's most positive outcomes for local jurisdictions.
