Sheboygan County Communications Council hears radio upgrade update, tables DOJ/DCI request
At its April 15 meeting, the Sheboygan County Communications Council heard that the county radio upgrade is approximately 90% complete, noted the resignation of Jeff Salzman from the Sheboygan Fire Department, and unanimously voted to table a Wisconsin DOJ/DCI request until July.

The Sheboygan County Communications Council met April 15, 2026, and received updates on the county radio system, inter-county coordination and administrative business. Chairman Brian Umble said the recent radio system upgrade is about 90% complete. The meeting lasted from 5:02 p.m. to 5:34 p.m.
