Staff updates Hermantown road-assessment schedule and Essential Wellness Center expansion potential

The same staff member also presented an update on the Essential Wellness Center expansion, including updated project numbers and the possibility of pursuing state bonding to fund a childcare addition as part of Hermantown's 2026 legislative requests. Staff did not provide detailed dollar figures for the proposed bonding request in the council's remarks at this meeting.
Councilors did not take public comment on either briefing at the meeting; staff indicated next steps are formal notices for affected property owners and additional council consideration as hearings and legislative planning proceed.
