The Lamar County Board of Education voted unanimously Sept. 9 to approve an amended 2025'026 1120 operating budget.
Shae Farmer moved to approve the amended budget and Jordan Carlisle seconded; the motion carried with votes recorded for Lance LeFan, Jennie Hensarling, Shae Farmer and Jordan Carlisle. The minutes state the district approved the amended 1120 fund budget as presented.
The budget packet included line items showing total revenues of $107,394,902.56 and total expenditures of $87,324,420.86 for the 1120 fund, and listed local and state revenue sources (the packet shows local sources $39,389,592.96 and state sources $68,005,309.60). The document in the packet also lists fund reserves and expenditure categories used by the district to allocate staffing, transportation and other costs.
