Event Center Director Kady Porterfield presented a staff report on the Kittitas Valley Event Center (KVEC) master plan at a March 30 Kittitas County study session; the three commissioners agreed she should prepare a proposal for inclusion in the county's 2027 budget. Chairman Cory Wright asked that the City Council be informed and included in the update process; Porterfield said she would include the City and involve stakeholders.
