Gosper County reports Elk Creek Bridge replacement, road closures and OKs engineering contract
The county reported that Elk Creek Bridge replacement has started with a June 30 expected completion, a county line road will be closed during construction, the board approved an Oak Creek Engineering agreement for Lake Access Road grading, and staff will add a drainage culvert on Road 424 Drive A.

Highway Superintendent Kelly Lehmann told the Gosper County Board on April 8 that the Elk Creek Bridge replacement project (Structure #C00333025) has begun and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026. The board’s minutes say the Gosper–Furnas County line Rd 426 (between Rd 425 and east of Highway 283) will be closed until further notice during construction.
