Levan adopts Wildland-Urban Interface code, signs cooperative wildfire agreement
Levan’s Town Council on Feb. 12 unanimously adopted Ordinance 02-12-2026-03 to implement the Wildland-Urban Interface code and approved the Juab County Cooperative Wildfire System agreement; the council also approved routine financial resolutions, a building permit and facility maintenance work and denied an outside-water service petition.

Levan, Utah — The Levan Town Council unanimously adopted a Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) ordinance and signed a cooperative wildfire-agreement at its Feb. 12 meeting, actions council members said are intended to keep the town eligible for county wildfire response and to avoid emergency costs for wildland incidents.
