Coffee County Commission adopts resolution opposing Covington County carbon storage project
On March 23, 2026, the Coffee County Commission unanimously adopted a resolution joining Covington, Okaloosa and Walton counties in voicing opposition to a proposed Carbon Storage Project in Covington County. The motion was made by Commissioner Clint Grantham and seconded by Commissioner Sonny Moore.
