"Therefore, it's recommended the school board suspend its regular rules of policy adoption by waiving a second reading of the policy contained in its memorandum and approve following the first reading," a staff presenter said. The vote: A motion to suspend the rules was made and seconded; the clerk called roll and recorded unanimous "Aye" votes. The board then moved and seconded to adopt the policy effective immediately, and the clerk again recorded unanimous approval.
