Council authorizes treasurer to manage Library CD maturity proceeds
The Florence City Council authorized the city treasurer to buy, sell or invest proceeds from a Library certificate of deposit maturing Oct. 1, 2025, within council-approved investment policies and to notify Mayor Ben Daniel after action is taken. The motion passed unanimously on Sept. 24, 2025.

The Florence City Council voted to authorize the city treasurer to purchase, sell, or invest the proceeds of a Library certificate of deposit that matures Oct. 1, 2025. Mayor Pro Tem Mary Condon moved the authorization; Council Member Forrest Hyde seconded. Council members present voted in favor and none opposed.
