Board defeats attempt to adopt Election Legislation Resolution, tables item and directs staff to compile GAVREO position
The board voted 2-3 against adopting an Election Legislation Resolution but then unanimously voted to table the matter and instructed the Election Supervisor to compile GAVREO’s official position and draft a letter addressing implementation delays and funding.

During new business on March 13, the Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration considered an "Election Legislation Resolution." Daniel Eason moved to adopt and send the resolution to the Floyd delegation and the leadership of both the House and Senate; Jennifer Perkins seconded.
