Summary
The board approved a one-time assistance agreement to perform base stabilization for Logan County (100% reimbursed), an ARPA increase for Diversion Hub to pay for transportation and childcare assistance, and a split record-preservation contract for scanning; several routine PBA items also passed.
The Oklahoma County Board of Commissioners on April 21 approved several consent and contract items including an intercounty road agreement, an ARPA contract amendment and a record-preservation contract.
Commissioner (District 3) described "a specific assistance agreement between Logan County and Oklahoma County for base stabilization on Prairie Grove Road between Pine and I‑35," noting that Oklahoma County will perform the work and Logan County will reimburse Oklahoma County 100% of the cost. The motion passed by voice vote.
On an ARPA item, Commissioner (District 1) presented an increase to a previously approved grant for Diversion Hub. "This increase was for transportation assistance for students and public transportation and childcare assistance for students, as well as an increase to their administrative costs," the presenter said. The board approved the amendment to increase funding by $75,000.
The court clerk described a split contract for record preservation and scanning that will cover two months now and a second tranche in July to set up scanning at the county warehouse. The clerk noted retention rules that can extend retention periods when records are inspected; commissioners approved the contract.
Other routine items handled on the consent docket and during the PBA session included receipt of the Metro report of fees for March 2026, permission for Delta Sigma Theta to use the Lincoln Event Room on specified dates, parking contracts, and approval of minutes and claims. All were approved by voice vote.
