County officials warn diversion of state funds could affect local transportation projects
Jackson County staff reported a draft legislative-session briefing noting temporary diversion of Connect Oregon and Safe Schools funds that may affect future county capital projects; commissioners were also told a courthouse bill passed but county funding likely would not arrive until 2027.

During the March 10, 2026 work session, County Administrator Danny Jordan said Jackson County lobbyist Cindy Robert provided a draft report on the 2026 state legislative session and that she will supply updated material over the weekend for distribution to the commissioners.
