The Porterville Town Planning and Zoning Commission voted Feb. 25 to set a public hearing next month on a rezoning request from Terry Griffiths covering parcels 0‑6‑13, 0‑6‑14 and 0‑6‑15. Griffiths told commissioners he originally believed the parcels were fully zoned commercial when he built a hardware store and now seeks to correct the map to avoid future inheritance and development confusion.
