Georgetown council authorizes three property actions after executive session
Council approved purchases of two Williams Drive tracts and a 29.156-acre Serenado Drive tract for airport improvements, authorized the city manager to negotiate terms, and approved issuing a notice of default against Secra Inc. for the Austin Avenue rehabilitation project.

Mayor called the meeting to order and the council first announced actions taken in executive session. Councilmember Pitts moved to authorize the City of Georgetown to acquire a 2.88-acre tract and a 3.443-acre tract commonly known as 5601 and 5631 Williams Drive and to authorize the city manager to negotiate and execute documents to complete the acquisition. The motion was seconded and approved.
