“We collect, and what we're trying to do in the future is go ahead process it so that way we can help build up diesel,” the presenter said, adding the venture aims to create local jobs and to comply with East Point’s policies and standards. The applicant cited plans to use surveillance cameras and reporting to limit theft and to follow all city operational requirements.
Planner Kimberly Smith noted the use‑permit application will move through the Planning & Zoning and City Council schedule; public comment on this item during the meeting was limited. The applicant said he had no formal presentation slides but answered staff questions and confirmed the business would follow city protocols.
