Resident urges lower parking minimums as Addison plans for 2050

During public comment at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, resident Zack Smutzer urged the commission to lower parking minimums as part of the Addison 2050 planning process, saying current standards are "far too high." He argued that many empty lots could be redeveloped if the town reduced required parking and that doing so would support walking, biking and future mobility changes such as autonomous vehicles.
