Council adopts Advance Addison 2050 after public critique and split votes
After public comment raising concerns about missing financial metrics and an executive summary, council adopted the Advance Addison 2050 comprehensive plan with two members voting against the adoption; staff will publish the plan and implement an online tracking matrix.

Council adopted the Advance Addison 2050 comprehensive plan, replacing the 2013 plan after more than two years of public outreach and internal review. Leslie Knipe summarized final edits (restoring '2050' in the title, adding embedded links and a public implementation matrix) and recommended approval. The Planning and Zoning Commission and CPAC both recommended the plan.
