Feb 10, 2026

The full story
Council considered two land‑use items that reshape development near transit. For Case 1946, staff (Corey Beck) described a rezoning of a 0.729‑acre parcel at 1 Commercial Drive from M2 to Commercial Limited after a pre‑application revealed minimum building height would impede a two‑tenant strip‑style building; the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval 7–0 and council adopted the rezoning. The applicant, Alex Camunez, indicated a ~3,500 sq ft building with headquarters use occupying half the space.
