Board members recognized 51 students from Bullitt County high schools for College Board National Recognition Program awards, naming recipients from Bullitt Central and Bullitt East and inviting them to receive certificates and photos.
During the April 20 meeting the board recognized 51 Bullitt County students who earned honors from the College Board National Recognition Program. Presenter Miss Kleinhalter called students forward to receive certificates and invited them for a hallway photo before release.
Kleinhalter listed winners from Bullitt Central — including Danielle Bernhard, Braylyn Bland, Jaylee Dils, Tyler Funk, Isabella Gayheart and others — and from Bullitt East — including Patrick Burns, Isabella France, Landon Skaggs, Brooke Daniel and several additional students. The awards announced included First Generation Recognition, Rural and Small Town Recognition, and School Recognition awards, given based on students' College Board assessment achievements.
"Congratulations to these students. Your commitment to academic excellence..." Kleinhalter said, thanking students and families for their accomplishments. The board applauded the recipients and transitioned to other agenda items after the recognition.
