CCRPC reports rolling applications and UVM project adoption; Basin 8 sees engineering-only prequalifications

Staff reported changes to Clean Water Service Provider operations: Basin 5 moved to a rolling application process and reported a CCRPC contribution of $54,000 (at $15,000/kg) to an approved UVM horticulture-farm project yielding 3.6 kg P reduction; Basin 8 received eight prequalified applicants but no construction firms.

Dan Albrecht, CCRPC staff, briefed the Clean Water Advisory Committee on recent operational changes to Clean Water Service Providers (CWSPs). He said Basin 5 switched to a rolling application process to streamline submissions, removed the pre-application requirement, and is conducting outreach meetings with prequalified project managers and town contacts to build partnerships.
