Village Administrator Clay Johnson presented the village's draft 2023 Capital Improvement Plan and the final report from the 2022 community survey during the Feb. 27 meeting.
Johnson described new formatting for the CIP and outlined revisions to the list of proposed projects; the board discussed the document and next‑step revisions. He also reported that the 2022 community survey achieved a higher response rate than the 2018 survey and highlighted results the village might incorporate into its strategic plan.
Operations Director Kevin Klahs thanked Public Works staff for extended efforts addressing street and water issues after recent challenging weather; Mayor Marturano and trustees expressed appreciation as well. There were no public comments on these agenda items.
The board did not take formal action on the CIP or the survey at this meeting; staff will continue to refine the CIP and consider survey findings as part of strategic planning.
