Del Rio council votes to dismiss city attorney, accepts city manager separation after executive session
After more than three hours in executive session, the City Council voted 5–2 to dismiss City Attorney Ana Markowski Smith effective the next day and unanimously accepted a mutual separation agreement with City Manager Shawna D. Burkhart; the council also authorized conveyance of 3.0 acres to Val Verde County.
