Del Rio officials outline $22 million wastewater financing gap, urge options to move projects forward
City staff told the Del Rio City Council on Feb. 24 that final designs for key wastewater improvements are complete but the city faces a funding shortfall (about $2.86 million for one oxidation ditch and roughly $22.06 million for related wastewater projects), and staff recommended exploring Certificates of Obligation and project packaging if Water Development Board financing is unavailable.
