Weslaco commission advances FY2026 budget (first reading) and approves multiple contracts and ordinances
On Sept. 2 the commission gave first approval to the FY2026 budget ordinance and approved ordinance amendments, contract awards and equipment acceptance including a $721,000 library FF&E award, a $97,000 pump-station contract, a $29,500 drainage design engagement and acceptance of a $52,000 surveillance trailer funded by Operation Stone Garden.
