The council appointed Michael Hall to fill a vacancy on the planning commission after Hall introduced himself and outlined roughly a decade of professional work in land‑use planning. Hall told the council he is the city planner for Evans and holds a master’s degree in planning; he said he lives in Severance and wanted to serve the community.
