The Park County Board of County Commissioners voted March 31 to adopt Resolution 2026-012, imposing a temporary moratorium on the acceptance, processing and approval of applications under Park County’s 1041 regulations for mineral resource development. Chairperson Wissel moved for adoption; Commissioner Jason Gemmer seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
