Board tables FBO request-for-proposals so members can review draft
Airport staff introduced a draft RFP to solicit a fixed-base operator; after discussion about proposed flowage fees and lease terms, the board agreed to table the RFP for 30 days so members can review the document before a vote.

The airport manager explained that three organizations had expressed interest in providing fixed-base operator (FBO) services and that he had drafted an RFP to solicit competitive proposals. He said the goal is to have an operator in place by Sept. 1 and proposed flowage terms (10¢ per gallon on 100 low-lead fuel and a 15% flowage fee on jet fuel).
