Meadowtown officials urge conservation as spring flows run low

A staff member suggested including an explicit conservation request in the monthly letter and the council discussed scaling back irrigation at the park and cemetery to conserve water while balancing upcoming events such as Memorial Day and July 24. The council also agreed to track well depth monthly to identify when more severe restrictions may be required.
No mandatory restrictions were enacted at the meeting; councilors said they would monitor conditions and consider restrictions if water levels continue to decline.
