Committee forwards collection policy draft to full Board after debate on materials and challenge process
The committee voted unanimously to send a draft Collection and Development policy to the full Library Board after discussing reporting of purchased copies, the challenge process and concerns described in the draft about “transgender promoting materials.” Several other policies were deferred because of time constraints.

The Library Board Bylaws/Policies Committee on April 2 voted to forward a draft Collection and Development policy to the full Library Board. The motion to forward the draft was made by Jim Holcomb and seconded by Mike Bryan; it passed unanimously.
