CCRPC staff preview 2023 Metropolitan Transportation Plan draft projects, ask TAC for August feedback

CCRPC staff presented draft elements of the 2023 Metropolitan Transportation Plan on Aug. 2, including project tables and a draft vision/goals document, and requested member comments by the end of August for inclusion in the September TAC packet.
CCRPC staff provided an initial preview of the 2023 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) to the TAC on Aug. 2, presenting draft project tables and a draft vision, goals and objectives document and asking members for feedback.
Christine Forde said Table 1 lists completed projects, Table 2 contains the starting point for the 2023 MTP project list (projects previously selected with municipalities), and Table 3 lists planning studies completed since 2018 for reference. Eleni Churchill screen‑shared the draft vision, goals and objectives and welcomed suggestions; Adele Gravitz suggested the draft expand the equity language and include economic equity under the Economy section and to reference the Transportation Equity Framework.
Staff requested comments by the end of August so they can be included in the September TAC packet; fuller discussions on the draft MTP are planned for upcoming TAC meetings.
