Commissioner Hernandez moved to approve the tree‑removal permit; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Williams and passed by the commission, recorded in the transcript as 5–0. Staff noted that the site development plan and tree preservation calculations are provided in the staff report and that the applicant is not required to plant additional mitigation trees because the plan retains more trees than it removes under the submitted calculations.
