Following the county board's approval of the county strategic plan, the library director asked the trustees for guidance on a library strategic plan—including purpose, dates, format and the level of public engagement. The director proposed three categories for the plan: actions the library can accomplish within the established resources, aspirational projects that may require additional resources, and ongoing principles that guide daily work.
