County Clerk Amy Nelson presented claims for payment spanning multiple funds, including a Medica insurance payment of $53,866.34 listed in the General Fund, a General Fund payroll total of $64,895.07, Road/Bridge Fund payroll of $35,773.75, and a Highway Bridge Buyback Fund culvert payment to Vogt Enterprises for $44,613.37. Member Wade Sluka moved and Member Merle Noel seconded approval of the claims as presented; the board approved the claims on a unanimous roll call vote (Ayes: Cerny, Graham, Harre, Lightwine, Neiman, Noel, Sluka).
Separately, Member Larry Cerny moved and Member Mark Lightwine seconded approval of the 2026 first-quarter accountability statements from the Clerk of the District Court, County Attorney, County Clerk (Section 125, HRA reimbursement, and Register of Deeds), and Soldiers & Sailors; that motion also passed unanimously.
