The Harris County Commissioners Court unanimously approved Bridal Lee Carter as the county's next administrator on Feb. 12, voting to make the appointment effective March 9. Carter, who accepted the position in the courtroom, said she would work to "elevate governance, collaboration, and communication across Harris County departments."
