Castle Valley IT flags server backup issues; town considers MAS hard drive backup and notes staffing openings

Colleen Thompson told the council that server backup issues required work by Computer Wise (Mike Baird) and she recommended upgrading the system or using a MAS hard drive as a lower-cost backup; Buck said the system is also backed up offsite with Carbonite. The town announced Spring Clean Up on April 11 and open PLUC Clerk and Groundskeeper positions; Faylene Roth will retire as PLUC Clerk.

Colleen Thompson, who presented the Information Technology report at the March 18 meeting, said the town experienced server backup issues that required intervention by vendor Computer Wise (Mike Baird). Thompson recommended upgrading the system and suggested a MAS hard drive backup as a more affordable option than replacing the server. Buck reported that the system is backed up offsite with Carbonite.
