Greg Byrd, the county’s emergency management director, presented findings from a cross-departmental committee that reviewed options for modernizing the county’s security cameras and access-control systems. Byrd said the committee identified a vendor, People Driven Technologies (PDT), whose approach bundles design, bidding and vendor management and can adapt to phased implementation.
