Committee approves several 2026 positions, declines one accounting hire
The General Government Committee approved a series of staffing recommendations for the 2026 budget — including a part-time seasonal Solid Waste worker, a full-time building maintenance technician, a part-time social worker/case manager and converting a child support specialist to full time — and declined a proposed part-time accounting specialist.
