Auglaize County commissioners approve support letter, consider appropriations and staffing changes

County Administrator Erica L. Preston presented a package of administrative and program updates to the board during the March 26 meeting.
The board approved a request for a letter of support by JTDMH for a CDS grant application. Preston also reported a public records request received in the Recorder's Office and said an introductory meeting with ODOT District 1 was well attended. She reported the Sheriff's Office received a request from the Auglaize County ESC to use county facilities for sheltering during inclement weather; commissioners asked Preston to obtain additional information on that request.
Preston updated the board on a CDS application for the MARCS Tower project and said a survey of the Acres site had passed City of Wapakoneta regulations; she will gather more information regarding driveway usage. Preston also reported a potential candidate to the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board and reviewed a Hangar Committee recommendation for an updated rental fee.
The board was presented with resolutions including #26-119 and #26-120 (amendments to the annual appropriation), #26-121 (accepting a resignation of a Workforce Development case manager in Job & Family Services) and #26-122 (authorizing the auditor to draw warrants for Then and Now certificate payments).
