Auglaize County commissioners approve routine resolutions, hear multiple department updates
Summary

The Auglaize County Board of Commissioners convened in regular session April 16, 2026, and approved a set of resolutions presented at the start of the meeting. President John Bergman and Commissioners David Bambauer and Douglas A. Spencer attended the session.
Commissioner David Bambauer moved to approve the resolutions as presented at 8:00 a.m.; Commissioner Spencer seconded and the resolutions were distributed for each commissioners vote and execution. Clerk Bobbi Donovan later presented the texts of Resolutions #26-155 through #26-159 for the Boards consideration.
County Administrator Erica L. Preston provided several administrative updates, including correspondence regarding the Acres site, discussion of a potential request for qualifications for a health and wellness provider, notice of a WAEDC meeting on May 6, 2026, and plans for a park celebration in Waynesfield on July 25, 2026. Preston also reported that lodging tax mailings have moved from the commissioners office to the Auditors office and recapped items from the quarterly MPRMA meeting.
Preston presented invoices for emergency roof repairs at the Courthouse and the Neil Armstrong Airport and provided a quote for a permanent roof fix at the airport. The minutes of the April 14, 2026 meeting were read by Clerk Bobbi Donovan and approved by the Board.
The meeting adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
