The bureau received a $25,000 grant from the state historic preservation office to support multi‑property documentation of the city’s firehouses; the RFP to secure consultant services was issued and the submission deadline was the day of the meeting. Staff said they will begin adjudicating proposals and match the grant funding to move the project forward.
No formal commission action was required on either item during the meeting.
