Commissioners approve two RFP awards for courthouse exterior and detention nursing services
The Eddy County Commission voted to award an exterior courthouse renovation RFP (RFP 2509R) to James Corporation and a detention center nursing services contract (RFP 2601) to Cell Staff LLC after procurement staff reported compliant proposals and top evaluation scores.

County procurement staff told commissioners that RFP 2509 (courthouse exterior) initially received no proposals and was canceled; a reissued solicitation (RFP 2509R) subsequently received two compliant proposals, and James Corporation ranked highest on evaluation scores. The commission moved, seconded and voted to approve the recommendation to award the contract.
