Huron County seeks consultants to administer PY2026 CDBG allocation program

Huron County on Feb. 17 voted to solicit Statements of Qualifications and Proposals from qualified consultants to support the county’s PY2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocation program.
Under Resolution 26-056, the county is seeking consultants able to develop the grant application, prepare an environmental review record, carry out fair housing program duties, perform contract management, implement financial and program records, and administer the allocation grant. Statements of Qualifications and Proposals must be sealed and received by the Huron County Commissioners’ Office (Attn: Vickie Ziemba, Administrator/Clerk) no later than 2:00 p.m. on March 5, 2026.
The resolution directs that notice be published in a newspaper of general circulation and posted on the county’s website. The board approved the resolution by motion and roll call; Commissioner James R. Morgan moved adoption and Harry Brady seconded. The resolution was adopted unanimously.
