Following a public hearing that drew no public comment, the Des Moines County Board of Supervisors voted April 28 to approve the county's 2027 IDOT Secondary Roads Budget and its five-year construction program. County Engineer Brian Carter presented the program and recommended approval; Jim Cary moved to approve and Tom Broeker seconded the motion.
